Premium Plenum for the Volvo 16V
Car Model: Volvo 240-360-740-940 16V
Everything is run in Nc machines so that matching to the cylinder head will be good. Both parts are cast.
You plenum is made in two halves and bolted together for ease of modification and maintenance.
There are no sockets for vacuum nipples, but there is a molded heel that is easy to drill or thread in.
Runner length is about 100mm

Poor design - Carl Tilley - 29 August 2021
The runners are too short so the throttle body clashes with the thermostat housing and rad pipe. The studs for the manifold also hit the fuel rail and it is a poor fit. The manifold is designed so you can put a 16v in a 240 which is narrower. The 8v version is a lot better.

I have given this 3 out of five. The throttle body can not be put on with the alternator in the usual position on a 940. You will have to place it on the bottom left where the power steering pump is. This would fit fine on a 740 set up as the power steering is on the right!
