Volvo 740 and 940 8v Extreme T3 Manifold - Header Summary
New Highest quality 8V manifold "Extreme" for Volvo 240
Car: Volvo 740 and 940
Flange: T3
Material: Stainless Steel
Tube Size: 48x2mm
Very carefully calculated manifold, designed and built in Sweden for high performance applications
The manifold is thought out for the best placement of the turbocharger and wastegate.
The runners are mandrel bent and shaped to only get one or two welding seams on each tube. Where possible the joints in the tube are expanded pipe to fit into each other perfectly before welding (not welded by 30-40 tube pieces which are otherwise usual in similar manifolds)
These are made for the best placement of the turbo in the engine bay based a Holset HX40
(This is probably the biggest Turbo with T3 flange, exceptions may apply)
The oil filter should either be block mounted a remote filter fitted. The long neck angled filter housing can casue clearance problems with the wastegate.
Water hose needs a elbow to clear the front exhaust runner
