RETURNS POLICY.
All claims for damage must be made within twenty four hours of signed for delivery.
All returns must be pre-authorised .
All returns are subject to a physical inspection. We must have received and inspected the products before an exchange or credit can be issued. Defective items are backed 100% and can be returned for exchange only.
All goods sold by Mail Order are covered by the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling), which allows for a seven day 'cooling off' period during which you may cancel your order (in writing) by sending us a letter , fax or e-mail at any time up to and including the seventh working day after the day on which you received your purchase. If you exercise your statutory right to cancel you must immediately return to us (at your own cost), the item(s) that you do not wish to keep. Carriages charges are non-refundable. We will acknowledge receipt of your written cancellation by issuing a 'Returns Authorisation Number' which should be quoted and accompanied by a proof of purchase or invoice when retuning the goods. You must ensure all goods are adequately packed to avoid damage, that you insure them accordingly with the carrier used and obtain a proof of shipment. Please note that all goods must be in the condition supplied at the point of sale and with their original, undamaged packaging. Returns are not permitted on parts specially ordered by Classic Swede on customers behalf or specially built items.
A 'Returns Authorisation Number' must be applied for within the 7 day period. Where the goods have been correctly supplied , it may be possible to offset the full value of the return against another order or the same or higher value. Alternatively, a credit note (for the full value) could be offered. Please note that any cash refund will be subject to a handling charge of 10% min £5.00 to cover administration and re-stocking costs. Carriage costs are non-refundable.
All goods returned for credit or exchange must be accompanied by a copy of our invoice quoting the RA number. Goods must be adequately packed to avoid damage. you should insure them accordingly with the carrier and obtain proof of shipment. No responsibility can be accepted by Classic Swede for goods received by us damaged. Goods must be in the condition supplied at the point of sale and with their original, undamaged packaging. Returns are not permitted on parts specially ordered by Classic Swede on customer's behalf.
No returns will be considered after 14 days unless covered by terms and conditions of our Warranty.
Returns of Exchange 'Core Units'
All 'Core Units' must be returned within 30 days of receipt. All 'Core Unit' returns must be returned with the senders details and invoice number. Core Units must be in suitable condition AND MUST BE SAFELY FIXED/FASTENEND IN THAT PACKAGING. Failure to comply may result in a charge being levied for any resulting or consequential cost incurred. Please note that old cores must be complete and serviceable and drained of fluids where applicable.
Please not that returns are processed as quickly as possible. During busy periods, especially in the Spring and Summer, returns may take up to 14 days to process. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
Warranty & Legal Info:
Road Parts Warranty.
All new & reconditioned parts for road use are covered by a 12 month manufacturer's warranty unless specifically stated. You should notify us immediately if a potential warranty situation arises. We will then advice a course of action. Any suspected faulty part must be retutrned to us together with the original invoice or proof of purchase and with as much information relating to the problem as possible. Please note that a defective part must be returned and received by us before it can be exchanged. All warranty parts are subject to physical inspection. This may involve returning the part to our supplier to verfiy the fault before it can be exchanged. Defective items are backed 100% and can be returned for exchange only.
All GAZ products for road use are cover by 24 month warranty.
All polyurathane bushes are covered by a 5 year road warranty. Bushes must have been correctly fitted and greased where applicable.
The warranty period commences from our invoice date not from the date of installation or first use. This warranty covers defects to the part when fitted & used correctly for normal everday vehicle use. It will not apply to parts used for any extraordinary or unusual uses such as competiton, racing, rallying or parts subsequently stripped down, altered, modified or adapted etc, in any way from their orignal design or intended use.
Although we are, by law liable for death or personal injury caused by our proven negligence and by The Sale of Goods Act 1979, our warranty only covers the parts in question and not to any consequential loss or cost, eg garage labour, recovery, car hire, re-delivery, parking fines etc. No claim will be validated if the failure is caused by mis-use, neglect, overheating , incorrect installation or failure of a related component.
Any part replaced or repaired under warranty, will only benefit from the balance or the cover remaining from the original purchase date. Warranties are not transferable. Acceptance of goods is deemed as acceptance of these terms. The warranties are in addition to, and do not affect your statutory consumer rights.

Notes for motorsport items
Purchasers understand and recognise that racing parts and equipment, such as disc brakes, hubs, etc. and all parts, inventory and services manufactured and/or sold by Classic Swede are exposed to many and varied conditions due to the manner in which they are installed and used. Purchasers and Classic Swede consciously desire to make their own bargain, irrespective of any court decision and purchasers agree upon good faith and in consideration for being allowed to purchase from Classic Swede does not make any affirmation of fact or promise to purchase which relates to said parts, inventory or services, that becomes part of the basis of the bargain between Classic Swede and purchasers. Nor does Classic Swede make, or cause to be made to purchaser any description of the goods sold to purchaser nor does Classic Swede make, or cause to be made, as part of the basis of the bargain with purchasers any description of affirmation of fact concerning any sample or model of racing parts, and equipment inventory or service.
As further consideration for purchasers using Classic Swede racing parts and equipment any and all inventory and services, purchasers acknowledge that due to the differing conditions and circumstances under which all equipment and parts are installed and used, purchasers are not relying on Classic Swede skill or judgement to select or furnish the proper part or equipment. Purchasers expressly affirm they are relying upon their own skill or judgement to select and purchase suitable goods.
Classic Swede makes no warranties whatsoever, expressed or implied, oral or written, to purchasers of Motor sport products. There is no warranty of merchantability made to purchasers. Classic Swede further excludes any implied warranty of fitness with respect to racing and equipment, any and all inventory, and service.
It is expressly understood and agreed between purchasers and Classic Swede that as part of the bargain between Classic Swede and purchasers, and in consideration of doing business with each other, all purchasers take, select and purchase said racing parts, equipment, any and all inventory, or services from Classic Swede “as is” and “with all faults” and Classic Swede shall always provide purchasers with a full and complete opportunity to examine, at purchasers’ leisure and convenience, any racing parts, and equipment, any and all inventory, or services when purchasing or contemplating purchasing from Classic Swede.
If, and in the event that purchasers expressly or impliedly cause representations, or statements or affirmations of fact contrary to this disclaimer of all warranties, expressed or implied, then purchasers agree to indemnify and hold harmless Classic Swede in the event of any claim, demand or legal action against Classic Swede by any purchaser.
Purchasers understand and agree that no officer, director, employee, or salesman of Classic Swede has any authority to make any statement contrary to the terms of this agreement. On the contrary Classic Swede disavows any statement contrary to what is herein above written.
Classic Swede is constantly seeking ways to improve the specification, design and production of its parts and alterations take place continually. Whilst every care is made to produce up to date literature, photographs within this brochure are for guidance only, products contained within these photographs may be subject to change without prior notice, therefore this UK market Brochure should not be regarded as an infallible guide to current specifications and or prices, nor does it constitute an offer for the sale of any particular item. Therefore, prices may be changed without prior notification to the purchaser and/or his agent.
Any reference in this website to speed or performance should not be taken as an encouragement to drive either dangerously or at speeds in excess of the national limit.
